Although slavery was officially outlawed in the United States in 1863, its presence continues to haunt us today. Threats, promises, and fear bind victims just as tightly as steel chains and manacles ever did. The US Department of Justice estimates that between 14,500 and 17,500 individuals are trafficked within the United States each year.

I've been working on this project for the past two and a half years. I've learned an incredible amount on a multitude of issues (trafficking itself, technical aspects, networking, persistence, etc). The video above is a culmination of this experience and effort. While it's not 100% done (still need to do some post-production work), all the basic content is present. I sincerely hope you find the subject as engaging as I have.
